Brite-Strike Technologies Inc. USA is a worldwide leader in the development of micro- circuit LED systems. The UV/HEPA Personal Air Purifier uses advanced technology called DFM™ Dynamic Fluidic Modulation to maximize air filtration in your immediate area. The DFM™ system combines a super quiet, high efficiency fan with ANION technology that generates negative ions that attract positive ions in the air. The air then passes through a germicidal UVC kill chamber. UVC light is proven to kill up to 99.8% of pathogens. This small but powerful unit gives you high quality air purification up to 100 sq, feet.
As soon as you power up the unit by plugging the USB cord into a power source, the system automatically starts in high mode and the Air Quality Index sensor starts monitoring the air quality. The digital display will be red and start to change to amber then green. Red indicates poor air quality, amber acceptable and green excellent air quality. You will get a real time read-out as long as the unit is powered on. Once the AQI is in the green your unit will select the proper fan speed. You can manually override this by pressing down on the power button to change the fan speed.
UV Turbo button:
The UV turbo button is for an extra boost of both UVC and UVA light. Press and hold the button down for one second and it will turn red. The turbo mode displays a violet color from the top of the clear window in the open oval inlet to let you know that is in turbo mode. Turbo mode will automatically shut off after 10 minutes. Use the UV Turbo mode if you cannot get the AQI to turn green after about 10 minutes of operation. Note: you cannot see UVC germicidal light, it is the UVA LED that is illuminated showing the violet color. It is not recommended you use the UV Turbo mode for more than 10 minutes. The unit is designed to sit in a cup holder or flat surface. Never hold the unit up and look into the UV light as damage may occur to your eyes. Keep away from Children.
Filtration System:
Your Brite-Strike® UV/HEPA Personal Air Purifier filtration system is comprised of an outer layer filter to capture large particles. The outer filter is critical as without one the HEPA filter will get clogged quickly. HEPA filters can capture small particulates <0.3um. There is also active carbon filtration to help remove odors.
Filter replacement:
You should replace your filter every three months if you use the air purifier daily for best operation.
